Ouch on the overdrafts :/ When I write a cheque I now put the transaction in my trackign program rightaway and flag it (I use YNAB) that way the money shows up as already spent in my budget and I know my actual bank balance vs what I see on the bank's website. When the cheque comes through I unflag it.

Thank you, I've already started updating my resume... having some difficulties with it... and the hard part especially is now knowing IF I'll need it. I hate this uncertainty!

Ouch, I'm sorry to hear it happened to you like that and yes I'm so so so happy that I got my shit together (mostly) before I ran into this! WHo knows what will happy, I might be fine and I might not be... In any case I'm glad I have a bit of cushion! (And lik eyou I don't qualify for unemployment so without this I would be screwed)

Yes.. but I don't think most of them will be complete... or even close! I think I'm more or less knocking them off one at a time, graduating is something I can't get done any quicker and prepaying my mortgage as well as fixing my bathroom will be cashintensive... who knows though, maybe I'll get them done faster than I think I will
