I didn't think the "Rapture" went as far back as Cotton Mather. I didn t think it went back further than about 1810

Marinus was not the only female monk. I remember reading about a man who joined the hermits of Sketis in Egypt back in the 300's. It was only after his death when his body was prepared for burial that it was discovered that he was actually a she. That was odd because women could join the hermits of both sketis and Nitria as women.

I only watched one episode of Geraldo. It was sometime after the broken nose incident. Whoever taught him how to speak English has a lot to answer for!
