The Dems keep saying that the news reports of Oscare hurting people and causing financial distress are false. Well, here is one for you....

My friend Jane is 61 and developed a rapid, onset growth on her thyroid. Jane is one of the people that Obama doesn't count in his unemployment figures. The firm she worked for (recreational travel industry) closed shop three years ago and she has been unable to find employment and cannot afford health insurance. She made an appointment with a prominent surgeon and had to pay $150 for the initial appointment - $100 office call and $50 new patient processing fee. She was hoping to at least have a needle biopsy. He refused to do the biopsy - even though she said she would pay cash for the procedure. He told her to go get covered under Oscare or Medicaid and then come back and he would do the biopsy. So there she sits - not knowing what the growth is and/or whether it may be cancerous. Prior to Oscare implementation she paid cash for all her doctor appointments and even had a non-cancerous lump removed and biopsied from her breast. Now the doctors are refusing cash paying customers??? What's up with that??? Surgeon must be a huge proponent and supporter of Obama and his disaster that Oscare has become. Sad, sad, sad. She is now seeking another appointment with a doctor who will accept cash payment. Not having much luck.

It was a twofer yesterday - Alec Baldwin is retiring from public life and moving to LA to escape the papzo's. In the NY article he made a couple homophobic insults on his way. How long before he smacks down another photog or gay person out on the left coast. If he wants to escape to somewhere liberal and out of the spot light he should head to somewhere like Minnesota!

Is this not the same CBO that was on duty when they were scoring different versions of Ocare during it's inception???? And is this not the same CBO that went to visit OBozo - personally - at the White House during the run up to the vote on Ocare? He knew all this doom and gloom to begin with and now tells us what a POS it is going to be for all of us???? REALLY?????

At least the taxpayers weren't stiffed for lodging as HE OWNED the ranch where he vacationed. How much did we shell out for Zero and Moochelle's vacations??? And don't forget the plane that transported their dog to their island vacation. Dinner dates in Chicago and New York????

Zero is one big ass failure!!!

Heaven is gearing up for baseball today too because they have our beloved Ernie Harwell.

My 86 yr. old father-in-law can't remember what he had for breakfast but today he will be able to recite every statistic ever printed for the Tigers and his adopted team the Devil Rays.

Go Tigers!!! And thanks Doug for posting the Ernie Harwell piece - had a good cry and smile on my face all at once.
