I rewatched the entire Six Feet Under series a few years ago after a paticularly emotional breakup. My mom came into my apartment and found me curled on the couch in my quilt, watching this show that centres around death. She urged me to stop watching it because it was "too depressing" to which I responded that it was like 'real life' and not some fake romcom shit that would make me more upset. But yea, anecdote aside, I love the series!
