This is a GREAT post because it's *your* home and as you said earlier, it's fun to have a nosey around each others' homes and I thoroughly enjoyed getting to know you better though this. I think I'll do more indoor themed linkys as people seemed to enjoy this one :)

I love that you had the pop art done! I've always wanted to try that but never got round to it, how cool! And I really love how you have an art wall in your kitchen.

Thanks for joining the linky! x

I love these views of your city life! One thing I had never seen until I moved to London were the pollarded trees--great big knobbly giants. These maples look old! Thanks for joining in!!

Ahhhh! I love this! Here's the bit that made me really smile: 'When my surroundings match those of a book I'm reading, it leaves a deeper imprint, and stays in the imagination for longer.' I completely understand that!

I loved living in London (a you may guess from some of my posts!) but I also love the countryside and I am frequently matching it to my experiences of Literature!

Great post for this linky :)

Wow, a powerful, thought provoking post here. I didn't see the one in the Guardian until now and you have replied beautifully. She made some interesting but strange points. Good for discussion, but... where did they come from?? Not a general consensus, clearly.

Good advice! I too am registered with this service and I still receive the calls. I have read that if the calls originate from outside the UK then they don't fall under this law (loophole alert!) but not all the calls I still receive are from outside the UK. I find it intensely frustrating, so much so that I've stopped answering the phone during the day and will only answer my mobile.

This is pretty! I keep thinking maybe I should learn... It's such a useful, creative skill.

Oh and about all the babies arriving around the same time--true that it will be more difficult to welcome them all properly, but as they grow up how nice for the parents and the children!

I know two people with Crohns. Like you it was a total relief when they finally had a diagnosis--it meant they could then do something about it! And they have and they are health, active people. Your life will turn around now and you will be able to get back to living again. Virtual hugs to you xox

Oh they even look sad in the photo. I love the photo though. Off to check out other links now. Wish I had time to contribute this week!
