When I complimented her ringtone, she chirped, "Thanks! It's one of my favorite secular songs!" I just found her defense of such a wholesome song kind of funny, considering that nobody else in the office had any compunctions about listening to secular music (the lady who sat next to me had the intro from AC/DC's "Back in Black" as her ringtone, and there was a gal in my department who LOVED the Beastie Boys). But this was also someone who wrote a lengthy blog post defending her decision not to give her kid an explicitly biblical name.
