Why this war is continued?
Very simple.
1)Because it is the easiest way to flush taxpayer money directly into the pockets of the industrial-military complex.
2)At the same time bankers and bond investors get to earn interest on the debts the country makes to finance this war, that's yet more taxpayer money flowing straight to the 'chosen few'.
3)It keeps the people's attention on the war, and away from the real problems.
4) Because Obama is not allowed to stop it. Yes, the president is a puppet and has to listen to the vested interests (who sponsored his election, by the way...)
