The funny thing is that the only people who would care — people who want "cutting edge phones" or iPhones — are precisely the people that wouldn't fall for this crap. This isn't the same smartphone atmosphere as we had a couple of years ago. People have been burned by crappy WinMo phones or Android phones, and they'd rather pony up for something decent, which US Cellular can't offer, despite their posturing.

According to their website, their most popular phone is the HTC Hero, a two year old phone that the iPhone 3GS would run laps around. It's cute that they're pretending to be "cutting-edge", but their lineup proves that they're full of shit.

I think the iPhone has proven time and time again that specs don't matter to anyone but nerds who have nothing better to do than brag about the specs of their phones.

I'm pretty sure FiOS doesn't even offer 50/50, just 50/20(maybe that's just in my region?), and that's not even their top tier offering. At any rate, why would you presume that he doesn't have it? Last I checked, it wasn't reserved for pretentious asses. I guess you couldn't spring for the 150Mbps package?

Also, I just checked to see if what you were saying about the AppleTV remote app not connecting instantly when the ATV is asleep. It had less than a 1 second delay over WiFi on 5 consecutive tests(maybe you have a shit router or stupid configuration?), which is drastically faster than Siri could interpret and act upon a spoken command, though a BT remote with actual physical buttons would probably be quicker. Regardless, I don't see the point of sleep mode. The ATV2G consumes 6 watts of power regardless of whether its sleeping or not. Turn sleep off if you're having problems.

I'm still waiting for Apple to do something with the Bluetooth controller that's built into the AppleTV 2G.

I think you're probably too dumb and arrogant to realize it, but you've made argued against your own point. Following your logic(or should I say "magical thinking"), if the iPhone 4 is the iPhone 4 because it's the 4th major redesign, then the next redesigned iPhone should be called the iPhone 5.

Idiot.

This design looks like a regression from the iPhone 4/4S design. I can't imagine Apple totally abandoning the steel band design anytime soon — it's just too damned sexy.

WTF are "eye teeth"? Isn't it more likely that he said "iTeeth"?

AirVideo looks cool, but I don't think a solution that depends on my iPhone to work is what I'm looking for right now.
