Thanks, Steph! :) (Although this is actually the first year we're doing it, so really, you're in from the very beginning!) And if anyone needs help, I am available for suggestions. ;)

The Shadow of the Wind is my favorite book ever. :) I hope you love it, too. (I'm also a fan of A Prayer For Owen Meany.)

Stephanie Cowart : And Finally….a Date Night!

My friend Chris works at the Fox station that was apparently featured several times throughout the movie. (They do not actually have a chopper.)

Stephanie Cowart : #77 The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson

Daniel Craig has the part and Lisbeth is going to be played by Rooney Mara (who was Nancy in the remake of Nightmare on Elm Street and the ex-girlfriend--Erica?--in The Social Network). She's a decent actress but she's very pretty and I don't think of Lisbeth being particularly good-looking. I sort of picture her as Angelina Jolie in Hackers. Did it take you a long time to get into this? Because it took me FOREVER, seriously, and I wasn't expecting that. I'm glad I read it for book club because otherwise, I would've given up, I think. (I did end up really liking it; I have the other two and I hope to read them at some point.) Apparently there's a fourth book that he had almost finished when he died (I think it was written but he was editing and rewriting it?) but his girlfriend and his family are fighting and so it may never get published.

Stephanie Cowart : #78 Beyond Recall by Robert Goddard

For the most part, Stephen King hasn't led me wrong. (He liked The Shadow of the Wind, my favorite book ever. He liked Veronica Mars and Breaking Bad. Most of the books, movies and TV shows he likes, I like, too.) But this one time, he had me read a specific book and it was really, really bad. He said it was scary; it wasn't scary or even particularly well-written. And the concept was very similar to a short story that Stephen King had actually written himself.

My Friend Amy : Thoughts on the Two Facebook Movies: The Social Network and Catfish

Based on your description, Catfish (which I haven't seen) reminds me of the movie (and Armistead Maupin novel) The Night Listener. Have you seen/read it? It's really good. :)

I don't think anyone loves every single minute of their job. I mean, for every awesome thing, there are generally at least as many negatives. And I think you're an amazing mom.

Stephanie Cowart : #65 Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins

I also will not see them if Kristen Stewart is in them. I mean, yes, she was angsty in Mockingjay, but I imagine that she still had more than three facial expressions.
