The problem for folks like Alterman is that they inevitably end up believing their own spin. Even so, it takes serious skilz to convince yourself that Obama has been saving his <i>transformational</i> initiatives for his next term -- especially when the Prez is looks more and more like he doesn&#039;t even <i>want</i> a second term.
