It's definitely something I'm aware of. I catch it and appreciate it when I'm reading, but I'm not so good about executing it. I'm working on it though. Great post.

Beautiful. Beautifully written and a beautiful testament to your mother. She sounds like an amazing woman.

Oh that was so sad and so good. I got a little teary eyed.

This was so funny! I loved all the Dissociative Identity Disorders. I could imagine those movies. And your little girl is adorable!

I really liked this. There was some really great imagery in it. I particularly liked, "As the shampoo and soaps are used, an array of aromas waft up on the billows of steam. "

I agree, sounds like yeast. My two littlest have had it. You'll need an anti-fungal cream. I got the Rx the first few times, and you probably should too. Now when I see it, I use lotrimin (jock itch cream) as my Dr. said that was fine. My middle girl had it once and it would just not go away. Finally, in desperation, I tried an old wives' remedy. Burnt flour. It has to be burnt (like toasted brown in a frying pan) or you'll grow bread in the diaper, but it worked when the prescription creams didn't.

Brilliant. Pure brilliance. I think they need more than one and I'm up for a pink scooter. :) I have an award for you on my blog. :)

Great story! I loved the happy ending. Sometimes I wish I could have a do-over with that one. I think we all have them. Really good job capturing the male perspective and thanks for giving him the balls to say something.
