http://www.ragan.com : Using tweet-ups, NASA keeps civilian excitement on full throttle | Articles

Yes people Tweet during events, but the Tweetup is mostly called that because all those who attend are followers on Twitter (in this case, of NASA). In fact it's only open to NASA Twitter followers. I was at the Atlantis launch Tweetup and it was an awesome time! It's a great way for people of a common interest to get together for an event.

Listverse : 10 Strange Things About The Universe

I'd advise you to not Google M-theory, which gives us not one, not three, not FIVE, but ELEVEN dimensions to exist in. It's a working theory – that hasn't been particularly proven or disproven – but is being considered seriously by many theoretical physicists. Talk about a headache. (Not that it should disrupt your day, gas is still three bucks a gallon and there's no good movies out regardless of how many dimensions there are.)

Interesting stuff here....vewwwwy intewwesting....a lot of things I have never even heard of. I'm surprised that the 11-dimensional universe M-theory isn't on here, because I think that's pretty strange and so should everyone else, but maybe if there were an eleventh spot (how apropos!) it would have made the list. :) I'm sure there's at least a dozen eerily long-winded replies fervently supporting junk science theories in the comment thread...all I have to say is watch out for that stuff. Especially if the proponent has to sum up their theories with accusations of conspiracy and cover-ups. (Most scientific papers do not end with a flinging of mud.)
