Congrats for your friend publishing her book. It is one of my favourite cakes as we also have it in Cypriot cuisine called Kalon Prama or Samali in Greece and a similar cake in Greece called ravani, the only difference is the addition of cococut which I will try,

Natasha we make pirozhkis in Greece as well introduced by the Greek Pontiacs and I posted them back in 2008. I've never made this filling before and we will surely have lots of leftover eggs this week after Easter, so I will definitely be making some.

Although have never eaten mahi mahi before, I have heard about how delicious it is. Have never heard of tomato caviar before. I shall google search and find out about it. Nevertheless it looks wonderful.

Great idea to use pretzels. I did something similar a couple of weeks ago with chicken and crackers.
