http://onjustacoupleacres.blogspot.com/ : ~All-Natural Hair Care~

Thanks for posting this. I have naturally curly hair. I straightened it for a couple of years, and that left me with hair that no longer separates into ringlets, but has a freaky wave thing that must be tamed with some sort of heat appliance. So I'm growing it out, cutting off the damaged areas, and letting the curl go natural. I've been looking for ways to encourage it into ringlets again... and from the looks of this blog, I've found it! Thank you! I haven't washed my face with soap in a year and a half. I use the oil cleansing method (just Google it). Some of my friends have tried it too, and they all love it. We've saved a fortune by no longer buying expensive face washes.

Stuff Christians Like - Jon Acuff : Leaving church before it's over.

Reasons why I've left early: 1. I did backwards church by attending the preaching in the first service, then attending and leaving after worship/offering in the second service. 2. I got sick/had a loud, distracting cough or sneezing fit/drank Church Starbucks and felt the call of nature before the pastor's second point. 3. I had to meet someone who was in from out of town. 4. I had to work a shift that started before the end of the service. 5. A large storm was coming and I had to run home to check on the cattle. (just kidding) 6. I was visiting from out of town and had to get lunch and hit the road home before the Baptists clogged up all the KFCs once they realized, again, that Chick-Fil-A is closed on Sunday. 7. I became so hungry I was on the verge of blacking out. (Bad idea in church. See #10.) 8. The teenagers sitting in front of me got into a farting contest. 9. The air conditioning was turned up so high that not even wearing a heavy sweater could stop the insanely loud chattering of my teeth. In July. 10. I once left early because a woman passed out--literally-- in the middle of service and the people around her wouldn't let anybody help her... not to mention that the pastor didn't even bother to notice or even acknowledge it. Everybody just started "worshipping" harder like she was a distraction from the devil. It is very rare that I ever leave a service because I am offended or bored by the preacher, though that has happened once or twice.
