For the time being look for carbon reductions on the ground. Companies are currently launching zero emission cars, forklifts, motorcycles, big rig trucks and even a railway locomotive. Lawrence Weisdorn

Interesting double standard.

ZEV – Zero Emissions Vehicle are defined as

"Used mostly to refer to hydrogen-fueled or electric cars, Zero Emissions Vehicles are not always necessarily totally “zero emissions.” For example, a car that charges off of the power grid can still be considered ZEV – even though the grid does still put out some pollution."

When calculating emissions for gasoline or diesel, I have never seen the emissions associated with drilling,refining and transporting the fuel added onto the emissions at the point of use. Lawrence Weisdorn
