Yes, Ayak, that's what I suppose I'm trying to say. Why pour cold water on other peoples' happiness? Before I married I often did voluntary work on Christmas day too. Whether a person celebrates it in the religious or secular sense, the point is that it gives many people happiness and anything that gives people happiness, even if it's not for me - why should I condemn it? I suppose some people feel bitter about the feast because of unmet high expectations. The secret is to just lower your expectations and get on with it!
