Respectfully, I've yet to see a FN show that was *truly* frugal, the cost per plate of every show I've ever seen usually is at least triple what I spend on a per person basis. (And yes, just for grins and giggles, I frequently figure out the approximate cost per plate on recipes, just out of curiosity.) Further, there is very little if anything on FN *ever* that's vegan or vegetarian. I've been vegetarian and/or vegan for a long time, so I can often adjust a recipe that's not too meat-centric, but a lot of it I watch for general ideas, not specific meal inspiration. I do, however, like Aarti Sequeira's approach to food - I find her stuff a bit easier to veganize.
