WordPress blog at tegeorge.com : “Not Writing” and Einstein’s Brain

I'd say 90% of my writing time is in fact pondering. I watched this documentary also. Great article, Tim.

WordPress blog at tegeorge.com : How Do you Kill 11 Million People

I actually agree. The way I look at it is if you are going to die a horrible death...die fighting. They didn't have enough bullets to shoot them all if all would have stood up. But it does take one brave fool to lead and more brave fools to be inspired. Freedom is only held if you are willing to die for it.

WordPress blog at tegeorge.com : No Plot ... Big Problem

We are kindred spirits here, Tim. I hate paper outlines. I tend to have scribbles on scratch paper at my laptop and only use them when I have a thought while not writing. This is funny because so many things in my life I tend to require structure. There is something about being tangled in a story so deep that you feel there is no out. Then slowly the strings begin to make a pattern and when you come to the end you turn to see a magnificent tapestry. In your heart, you know you didn't make it, but rather allowed yourself to move through the weave. Yes, that is how I write and glory to God for the joy it brings.

I agree wholeheartedly with this assessment of writing. It's 7000 steps forward, 25 back, 3 forward, rinse and repeat. :D

Oooo...excellent thoughts, Tim. I dabble a bit in this. So does Kat Heckenbach. I think the key is to read like a child, wonder never ceasing but acceptance never ending.

http://www.positivelyfeminine.org/ : Peer Pressure in Marriage Matters | by Cathi-Lyn Dyck

I love this post. I did something about living in a shallow society not too long ago. I agree. Most women try to live by societies standards and honestly, they are shorting themselves and their families in doing so. "God's jewelry" Brilliant term! May I use it? Great lesson to teach our daughters.
