Thank you:D We love Olympia!

"Naked man" made the national news so I sent the link of the story to my honeymooning daughter and son-in-law for their wedding album. My husband said as we watched the police and paramedics load naked man into the ambulance, "...you cannot make these things up!"

Oh, yes! Now that my husband and I are empty nesters we are hitting the road a lot! Our plan is to see the world, or as much of it as we can agree upon~haha!

Thanks, Coop. The old, "let go, and let God..." was often uttered last year. The final exclamation point on the year came on my daughter's wedding day, a few days after Christmas. She had zero disasters one would might expect on wedding day. The flowers arrived, the cakes were perfect, she looked stunning in her gown, we were all enjoying the moment.

Right up to the point when the hair and makeup ladies came to pretty up the wedding party. The ladies opened the drapes of the sitting room in our hotel room for natural light and DIRECTLY across from our hotel was a very naked man on the parking garage ledge! We had to whisk my five year old granddaughter away from the windows and into the next room, and kept her occupied with My Little Pony DVDs. As the ladies were doing my daughter's makeup they asked the bride if she was OK. Her reply, "as long as he doesn't jump, I will be fine."

The girls called the front desk, the front desk called 911, and it took five hours to get the man down, but everything ended well, and baby girl's wedding was fabulous :D At that point I was soooooo ready for 2014 to come!

Hi! Nice to see you, too! We LOVE Olympia. Everyone said we would hate it here and that it was even more dreary then Portland. The summer was AWSOME, it does rain, but then it clears up nicely and the blue sky comes out, fall was fabulous and this winter we even got some snow (but, of course Portland got tons this year AFTER we left!). We joke with our Portland family and friends that we moved to Pleasantville. Everyone is super nice, they wave hello, it is awesome!

Thank you. I am really looking ahead to a "quiet" year this year, but something tells me I may have set my sights a bit high. My husband bought a tee shirt for me on one of his trips to VA that had the "Virginia is for lovers" logo~haha. Of course it is pink with a big red heart :D

Hi Coop! Oh my, where to begin... We welcomed a new granddaughter-"Miss Purplelicious" early in 2013, my husband was appointed to a new job so we moved to Washington state in late spring, got a couple of medical diagnoses thaat threw us for a loop, ten days after the move we lost Jake the Wonderdog to a poisoning, then my mother-in-law and my uncle and godfather passed away a couple of months after that, my youngest got married, it has been such a year of highs and lows!

I am really going to try to get back to my "normal" routine. Stop laughing. I am allowed to say normal. Sort of...
