Sorry, I don't believe you "listened" to the program, but are only spewing "talking points" from someone else, otherwise you'd realize he was SINGING the part of "riots in Denver" instead of "dreaming of a white Christmas." And he wasn't telling the Right to riot, he was "dreaming" of the left rioting in Denver, as a JOKE! Why don't you actually listen to a whole show or two before you condemn him.

Here is the exact quote from Rush's radio show in response to a caller:

RUSH: "We don't burn our cars. We don't burn down our houses. We don't kill our children. We don't do half the things the American left does. We need the American left -- and this is another great thing about Operation Chaos; nothing to do with my ego. We need as many ignorant Americans to wake up and find out exactly who the modern-day Democrat Party is as dominated by the far left in this country. We need that to be seen. Now, I am not inspiring or inciting riots. I'm dreaming. (singing to the tune of White Christmas) "I'm dreaming of riots in Denver." Remember 1968? And which party did that? It was the radicals in that party, the anti-war radicals, the same bunch of clowns that are running around defining the Democrat Party today. What the world thinks of us? There was an analogy just this week about somebody in the world. I'm drawing a mental blank about this. But the fact is that the Democrat Party has members in it that have already said, "There will be riots," or something to that effect. Al Sharpton."

Please go here for the transcript of the entire conversation: http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_04230...

Rush uses absurdity to illustrate absurdity and then the left picks out juicy soundbites - totally out of context - then spreads them around causing the the rest of you lefties go crazy. It's actually pretty hilarious to watch.

So please, take the Limbaugh challenge: actually listen to his whole show for a couple days, then get back to us.

kthxbye

While being stoned, if you can get free of the "hole" you're buried in, you are allowed to go free. However, men are only buried up to their waists, while women are buried up to their breasts, with their arms pinned at their sides. Sounds fair, right?

Sick.

I've had discussions with people who are all for ObamaCare too. They say, "Everyone deserves to have health care..." I say, "Everyone in America DOES have access to health care. They can walk into any hospital and will be treated. Of course, they will have to pay the bill later, but they do have 'health care.'" Nothing wrong there.

What these people are really saying is "Everyone, aka "the poor," should have FREE health care. They want to be able to go to the doctor whenever they want and have someone else pick up the tab.

My husband and I went through a 6 year period when we had no health insurance. We'd both just gotten out of the Army and were full time college students. One morning I woke up with strange chest pains, so I went to my doctor. I ended up in the hospital for two days while they did numerous tests. They ended up not finding anything wrong, thank God, but I left there with a $9000 bill. We made arrangements with them to make payments and after several years, paid it off. Not fun, but we should all have at least some responsibility for the cost of our own health.

I wholeheartedly agree. BHO totally dropped the ball last year after their elections. Another "present" vote.

"Most days while reading the Bigs, I want to scream.... however, as screwed up as we are, it's nothing compared to the human rights abuses that are allowed in other countries under Islam. "

I know exactly what you mean, Maxine. And I'm so glad we have these sites, not only as news sources, but as rallying points in our fight to protect our liberty.

The documentary opens with Neda's death. If I'm not mistaken, they use the actual footage of her death. Of course they show her life, but they also go into detail about the elections and the protests immediately after, of which Neda was part. And then they focus on what has happened since her death. It's inspiring to see people in places like France, Germany, Belgium (forgive me if I'm missed any or gotten any confused) stand up in protest of Iran in Neda's memory. Sadly, in the days following those elections, BHO said nothing...voted "present" once again. I wonder if things might turned out differently if he had come out against the obviously rigged elections.

Thank you for the reminder! I saw in interview with Ayann Hirsi Ali recently and had been meaning to read her books.

Also, if you haven't already seen it, I highly recommend For Neda, an HBO documentary. (You can watch the whole thing on YouTube. It's broken up into 7 or 8 segments.) It's heartbreaking, but gives us a glimpse into the lives of ordinary Iranians yearning for peace under such an unjust regime.
