Ulysses S. Grant was a mediocre Field Tactician at best. He had a lot and I mean A LOT of things that went his way. And this is coming from a fellow Ohioan
I was gonna say "Where is Saladin!" Then I saw he was a notable omission. This list is absolutely terrific. Great choices. I do believe Ghangis Kahn should be higher up though
Me thinks it's time for another Beer list. It has been about 2 years now...mmmm beeeerrrr
Yeah just mention his name to present day Irish and you will get an earfull
Very subjective list. Leaving out both of the Korean dictators is an error in my opinion. Also I think, even with the debate that his crimes were far fetched, leaving out Caligula is a mistake. None the less all of the people included are terrifying in their own rights
man i love traveling but despise flying just because of rare instances like these
Seems to me that you have a crush on Yi Sun-Sin. He is the only one that received more than a single paragraph! Not saying he doesnt deserve the spot, but to only write a snip-it on Genghis Kahn is absurd.
I've personally seen 4 of these and they are marvelous in person. I am surprised another piece housed in The Louvre is not on the list, The Winged Victory.
Im from the west but this list is very Western. Not to mention the countless Asian Mathematicians left out as well
