It's an interesting concept that a person might not be considered for a position because there isn't any info on them online.

I think it's unfortunate that small businesses are FORCED to blog in order to be found in search engines. Many companies don't want this additional responsibility:

This is such a great idea. The earlier the better. I started trying to programming little games when I was eight. Even though I build business applications today, the random() function is still my favorite!
