GospelPundit.com // your source for gospel music info : Top 10 Favorite Albums of 2011

I only HAVE to disagree for one reason: Ricky Dillard & New G's Keep Living has to make my personal list. That CD has such a diverse breadth of gospel, and overall I probably played it longer than any other purchase this year. I love your list too, so rather than bump anyone off, can we just have 11 for 2011? lol

GospelPundit.com // your source for gospel music info : Curious: How Many Of You Buy Singles Before The Album Is Released?

I buy about 10-15 gospel CDs per year, and as bizarre as this sounds, I'm more likely to buy the single of an artist who I will most likely NOT buy the full project of. For example, a while ago I purchased Deitrick Haddon's "Love Him Like I Do," because I usually don't expect to buy his full album--at best a couple of songs (he's very talented, but I'm just kinda old school). But when Ricky Dillard released "God is Great" I didn't purchase it, because I expected that would be a full-CD purchase, and it was. I'm never really in a rush to buy a single, especially these days when you can preview them on iTunes or listen to just about anything on YouTube.

"You Hold My World" has been stuck in my head all day. That and "Hosanna." Great songs, though I am definitely one that misses the New Breed sound
