Aww...I love this anime. One of my first favorites. It's such a funny and heartwarming story. It's a must watch for any anime fan out there. What hit home for me was Yui's story(episode 10). Though, I agree, that ending left a lot of questions to be asked lol. Still, I find it perfectly imperfect! ;D

Compared to your weekly sched, I only watched Pokemon, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Yu-Gi-Oh!...and that's it lol. Then I really started to get into shounen, but that was way later...til high school. From that point on, it was mainly shounen and shoujo series. And then came moe. Nowadays, it's just currently airing anime. I'll give anything a chance, but it does become easier to lean towards more "adult-like" series now, due to my age. Especially because I feel that I have the mindset to enjoy them now. Although, I do notice that I don't have as much patience with slapstick comedies as I used to.

It is probably the wisest choice to wait until after the second season because I think that a series such as Chihayafuru is better when marathoned. You will not be disappointed!^^

lol now that I think about it, it does not sound fun at all haha. All a part of our relationship I guess :P
And I'm glad that you mention characters because they really are what stands out in a Slice of Life series. Especially when the plot is so much more subtler than other genres.

Don't apologize man. I think most people enjoy these posts. That way we can compare our likes and dislikes, It's always good to find new anime to add to our list. Welcome to the NHK is one I plan to watch....sounds interesting. Steins gate as well. I feel like I'm missing out. Personally, I enjoy Code Geass more than Death Note, but I can see why you like it so much. Great list :)
