Not much decoration at the nearest street mall, unfortunately. The only difference is that they are playing Christmas songs through the loudspeaker. We just had the Christmas Pageant a couple of weeks ago. I still prefer the Christmas decorations in KL and Singapore because it gives me the feel of the season.... or maybe I'm just homesick at this time of the year.

MTs are definitely the best accessories for all kinds of stationery. ^^ I'm already thinking of birthday presents while reading your post about it - at least it provides a sense of uniqueness to it (instead of struggling to find the matching ribbons for the present).

I can't believe that all of the suitable events that I can attend are on when I'm not in town, sigh.

But the festival is a good way to introduce more of the Japanese culture to us Malaysians. :)

Seribu Kenangan? The steps of a thousand memories? If that's the name of the trail, it sure has a bittersweet twist to it.... the pictures that you took are actually really reminiscent of my days hiking Bukit Gasing and Bukit Kiara. I'd definitely love to hike this place if/when I have the chance and give my mind, body and soul a proper workout. =)
