i visited a church a couple of years ago and they had a large purple and black tarantula on the stage. it literally took up the entire stage. i have no idea how it applied to the sermon or the series (i am sure they mentioned it) but i will never forget that spider.

the church i go to know has a large tree on the stage - the sermon series is about "thriving". the tree (through visual effects) starts out at the beginning with no leaves, then throughout the services gains leaves, flowers, and finally fruit.

i think trees are much more "Jesus-y" than spiders.

check out www.typekit.com - i use wordpress and can import fonts from there site..not sure if it works on blogger. you can get limited use for free.
