Will Chator lose his pension like any civil servant caught fiddling his expenses?

Errrr........no.

It still smells by the Thames. (Divine will probably use the defence of mental incapacity judging by his C4 performance)

Whatever you think of him, at least he is pulling the country back from the edge Ireland, Greece and the others have been sprinting over recently.

I am a little pissed off though that my kids get an extra 27k in student debt when their turn comes because we live in England. No doubt 'Daddy' will be expected to help out from his post horrific tax income.

The biggest humiliation has to the pathetically small amount he nicked, how can he hold his head up in the company of Imelda Marcus and the other cleptocrats?

In fairness though it wasn't all roses around the door. There must be a balance somewhere

Here are few questions I wouldn't mind being put to me

Would you be in favour of a 100% cut in.....

a) Diversity Training Officers b) Five a Day coordinators c) Client Development Managers (Libraries) d) Adult Operations Managers e) Children's Services Safeguarding Managers f) adventure tutors g) Breakfast Club assistants etc etc

Permitted answers should be 1) Yes 2) Too right! 3) Don't waste a moment on this Mr Citizen, we are swinging the fiscal axe for you already

These are all real jobs as currently advertised, It is good to know that every penny you pay in tax is weighed and carefully counted before it is allocated with great parsimony to optimise value for you the taxpayer

There are handrails on Mount Everest as it happens. Most of the way up anyway. I wonder if Lambeth sponsored them?

I had another look at this and it appears that our man 'Billy' would be an inappropriate 'employer' deciding work tasks and hours for his personal assistant as he is requesting that his carer be a dog lover (I believe this excludes devout muslims from applying for the job which is discriminatory), enjoy walking (excludes disabled people) and can play football (Sexist, ageist and anti-disabled). In addition they must work till three in the morning one Sunday each month which will surely discriminate against devout Christians.

One wonders how the good public servants of Lambeth would tolerate requests like this that are so clearly in breech of employment law and all the politically correct ideals they hold dear.

I could weep.

I thought this was a skit, but it is the most grossly insulting document I have yet seen. How dare these people burn our cash in this way.

Yes Britain will struggle on it's own but only if the common market element from the EEC era disappears. If you take the EU to it's logical conclusion we will have transfered our wealth to the rest of Europe. The Germans are just waking up to that fact now as they are being asked to work hard, save and invest only to give it all to bailout the less responsible members of the EU family.

The EU is finished, all that remains now is to rescue the bits that actually worked.

Ironically Northern Rock is the safest bank in Dublin as it is the only one that is protected by the UK deposit protection scheme. All the other UK and overseas branches are backed by the irish guarantee.

I think the euphoria of getting in the Eu/IMF lifeboat has worn off for the Irish this morning with the news of the 6.7% intrest rate attached to the bailout. The PS part of PIGS must be thinking very hard this morning about how to avoid a bailout
