When I was getting my Master's degree in counseling, we read the memoir WHERE IS THE MANGO PRINCESS? by Cathy Crimmins, which is a memoir written by a woman whose husband experienced traumatic brain injury. Excellent book. I also read a book called RESCUING PATTY HEARST--another memoir--this one was by a girl who was raised by a mom with schizophrenia.

Omigosh, I remember the day THE LITTLE MERMAID came out on VHS. We had to buy a copy *THAT* day as soon as I got home from school. I must've watched it a bazillion times. I can still quote almost all the movie, sing ALL he songs (except the stupid one that the chef sings when he tries to kill Sebastian for dinner. I never liked that one.) There there was Aladdin and Beauty and the Beast....and of course, the older ones like Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella. Good stuff. But I have to admit that Ariel is my favorite princess. Although I really appreciate Belle and her reading ways. :)
