Great collection! Another one worthy of contention is Gnowledge (www.gnowledge.com), a free-to-use tests and exercises platform benefiting educators, students and parents. Tests and exercises can be created by anyone and are categorized for easy access. All tests are auto-corrected and results, scores and answers are saved online. Registered users can create, take, share and assign tests to anyone.

I will explore a few of the tools which are new to me. Thanks. As for my favorite it would have to be Moodle. If you have a Moodle set up for your school then you gets several of these tools with one convenient login (we have our Google Apps and our Moodle SSO as well). Also we use Mahara (an open source e-portfolio system).

Lots of my favourites in that collection. I'd add Evernote - I use it myself all the time - a notebook for each class for example. I used a shared notebook recently to share some resources with students and following that several students created their own Evernote accounts.

I use many of the sites listed in your blog article, such as Soho, Wordle, and GoogleEarth. But I did not notice too many photo and graphic editors on your list. We like FotoFlexer, and SumoPaint, as they are free online editors, but pretty powerful.

ePals global community (great way to find a collaborative partner classroom for global learning and exchange from 200 countries); LearningSpace (most powerful social learning network designed for K12 with groups, web 2.0 tools, TRUSTe certification of data privacy); eFilms from Snagfilms; schooltube.com; teachertube.com. These are all designed for K12 students and use in schools, NOT a mass market web 2.0 tool that we try to make work in the classroom and still have problems. This is really important for elementary schools!

Great list! Missing (1) http://www.wetoku.com which students would love to use to interview each other on topics of classroom discussion or could be used to interview others world wide! Can then be broadcast publicly or embedded in a blog or website. Also love (2) http://www.screencast-o-matic.com/ to record important info pieces that can later be added to a blog, Prezi or PPT. (3) http://www.podomatic.com/ is also awesome tool for podasting. (4) SymbalooEdu.com is amazing and should be tried by all educators to support organization of tons of content for students. Lastly (5) http://www.Vodpod.com which allows you take practically anything you want to capture for later sharing and embedded on blogs or website. Cheers!

You may want to try Stixy at http://www.stixy.com/ . It's similar to Wallwisher but allows you insert and upload various things. Plus, it doesn't crash as often as Wallwisher.
