Mike Green

My Internet startup is seeking to bring to market an innovation that connects areas of highest need within developing countries directly with areas of the world with the highest per capita income in real time within an online web-based platform that features navigable, interactive 3D replicas of real world environments. Users freely explore realistic replicas of real world environments, both exterior landscapes and interiors of structures. Clicking on static or animated objects opens a real-time portal where text, links, photos and videos appear in real time. Administrators of the portals can easily upload any information within seconds and it becomes accessible by the environment traffic immediately. A single village could have hundreds or thousands of these portals controlled independently 24/7. Users can connect with places and peoples far away and develop relationships, engage in e-commerce and significantly increase donations and relations between people, communities and countries. Users can also see how their money is being used. Accountability helps provide a level of integrity. Users have a window into the world of the poverty-stricken. At the same time, those in desperate need have a conduit through which they can reach the world with the call for help. The world can see their plight first-hand via 3D replicas and real-time communication platforms. This new technology is ready for prototyping. We've built a proof of concept. And we need investment to demonstrate the significant benefit of bringing the world together.

In particular the point about the criticality of collaboration to innovation within an organization. Reminds my of the Marshmellow Challange, where kindergardeners outperform MBAs because of how they work together: http://www.ted.com/talks/tom_wujec_build_a_tower....
