He can write observant pieces such as this but on other occasions he seems to miss out the blatant provocation and involvement of Israel in Middle East affairs. British crimes in Ireland have thus far been largely conveniently forgotten but how can we keep ignoring them whilst the high profile arrest of Adams and other Republicans takes place? We either investigate all sides of the conflict or draw a line under it and that includes British Secret Service suspicions. In the interests of (albeit) an uneasy peace, I suggest the latter.
