Feedburner is licking Your PR Juice – Configure Your CommentLuv Comments

This way, if anybody clicked on recent post link, they arrive at my page through Feedburner. This way, I am not getting any benefit for PR from those comments. I must go to feedburner now to fix my seting. Anyway,..tanks.. My recent post What are some sweet sayings girls can say to guys?

I use feed burner and i do not configure it yet -- but when i move my mouse to my link it point the right one (my blog url) so i do not need any change. Thanks for this info anyway.

Solution Found! The only way that I was able to get back my URL was to sign-up with commentLuv and set the feed URL. Not sure whether this will have any other consequences, but changing the settings in Feedburner just didn’t work. Thanks for the suggestion. My recent post Controlling Comment Spam On Your Blog

Oh Yes, commentLuv treats http://www.icttrends.com and http://icttrends.com as two different URLs, this is the reason for different behaviour of omiting www from URL. Have you set up your blog to mean same thing with and without www (canonical)? If it takes your URL by dropping www, better do that than pointing to feedburner. Hope this will solve your problem. Thanks for the follow up shkhanal. I haven't been unable to sign up to commentLuv. I think there may be some issues with the site. The very strange thing is that when I omit the "www" from the URL, commentLuv picks up the full URL to the article and doesn't use the Feedburner address :( This way probably robs me of a link back to the domain, as the primary URL is suppose to contain the www. I don't remember if it delayed for certain time period when I fixed it. But I'd made yet another silly mistake. I pasted feedburner address for RSS url link when registering to commentLuv account. Check if you have provided your primary RSS link in commentLuv account. My recent post Allowing LPCA kick your ass? Thrash it down!

OK, so I edited my Feedburner account and yet when I enter the URL in the website CommentLuv still pulls the feedburner address - is there a period of time that must pass before the the settings propagate through? My recent post What Is The Google Sandbox

Can I freeze this moment in time? I feel like I've reached some level of blogging supremacy when a wonderful blogger like yourself can start off a post by saying " Thanks to Ileane". Thank you for that. We bloggers have to stick together. A few days ago I sent out a tweet asking if anyone knows if there is an official YouTube channel from Google for feedburner. So far I haven't found one yet, but that's ok, because I will built one myself to help bloggers understand all of the ins and outs of the configuration and set up of so many features and options that I can't even count them. In the meantime, thank goodness for bloggers like Kristie from Kikolani and yourself for spreading the word about how to maximize the use of the feedburner beast.
