Be careful now. Down with this sort of thing. I am seriously considering never voting for the Duppers ever again. They are hypocrites if they are offended by the bad language in a play they claim never to have seen. There are swear words in the Bible. Check out Zechariah 9:6, Hebrews 12:8 and Deuteronomy 23:2. Double standards or what?

Ulter goes from bad to worse when it comes to these fundamentalist, evangelical morons. If they find the play blasphemous then they don't need to go and watch it. Other people might want to see it and are now being deprived of the opportunity, thanks to a minority of bigots. Fundamentalists in any religion are a blight on Mankind. Northern Ireland presents itself in a truly pathetic light, thanks to these people. Let them stay at home and read their bibles and let other people get on with their life - as they wish to pursue it.

Newtownabbey Borough Council should have their arts funding removed. To allow a minority fundamentalist group this much power over what people are allowed to see is unacceptable and is an abuse of the funds they are given by the tax-payers.

The people who vetoed this Play were elected by a section of NI people ( how embarrassed must they feel) and they truly believe that they act in the best interests of the people because they truly believe that they know better.... Its really embarrassing that this is allowed to happen. How can these bible bashing has-beens (who only use the scriptures when it suits them) Be allowed to make decisions like these.....Its why this country is so messed up and so much hatred exist!

Start complaining! Copy and paste the email addresses from the Newtownabbey council website: http://www.newtownabbey.gov.uk/councillors/party.... Be polite and civil, but make it clear that you're angry and that this sh*t is unacceptable in the 21st century.

If the voting public vote for the party who live in the "dark ages", then thats their choice. Maybe next time they'll vote for a party or person based on policies instead of the flag (or colour of the background) behind them.

I remember the same thing happened when Monty Pythons "Life of Brian" was released...Belfast City Council banned it....so I went to Bangor and braved the Free P protesters instead....still my favorite move. Time to move on and let people make their own minds up
