Some lines that made me shake my head: "Don’t do drugs" But President Obama certainly experimented with his fair share of them in college. Or do teachers not tell kids that? "Give me your money – give me your money/ Leave him alone/ No bullying." Funny, Obama comes off like someone who wants my lunch money. I think he's a bully according to those parameters. "he’s a modern Martin Luther who was also a great man. " Dear teachers, Martin Luther and Martin Luther King Jr. are two completely different people in history. Also, it makes little sense to compare President Obama to either. Public school education at its' finest. And libs wonder why we're behind in almost every subject compared to the rest of the world.

There is a reason why kids are used in horror movies. They shoud be innocent and apart from creepy behavior. When they are not it messes with your head, and kind of disturbs you. The people who make these kids do this must not be able to see the creepy. They are blinded by ideaology. Those of us who are not can see the wicker man children of the corn scariness of it. Man didn't it freak people out whn the great leader songs and youth corps films were seen? Or is the leftist just ok with the whole thing? I feel like I need a shower

I am not at all surprised public school is trying to create a horde of drones to mimic the liberal talking points. If you wish to check out the source, check out the politically correct, over the top liberal curriculum at EVERY major school of Education in the US college/university system. chock full of gender studies, and other such pure BS that has NOTHING to do with teaching our children to win in the global economy. Check out the per student cost of our system vs. the ranking world wide of our students. Public education is a complete failure in this nation. But we will keep throwing bad money after good, we are enculturated to support it, brainwashed I suspect. I am not surprised one bit by your story. you are just scratching the surface.

Public School has not been about reading, writing, and math for A LONG TIME. Public School has been the bastion of liberal, mullet-cultural, political correctness, and other such BS for decades. I have a mid 20's son who I pulled out of public school after 6th grade, and private parochial school and heavy parental involvement was still too little, to late. He has classical blame everyone else, self esteem trumps self discipline and results, and an entitlement mentality. And before you say it, YES, I was very active and deeply involved in his public school period. I begged and pleaded when his report card was ENTIRELY incomplete's that he should be held back and was told "Mr. Montgomery in this day and age we simply don't do that it is too damaging to his self esteem". I got NO support from the school. They WOULD NOT hold him accountable for not doing his work. My second round of children are ALL home schooled, and very sharp, very social, and very, very much holding the right values.

Garbage in and garbage out. Where are the parents of these children? If you agree or not, public schools are not the tools of the state. However, the dumbed down society think teachers are baby sitters instead of educators of reading, writing, and math. Hitler Youth comes to mind as I watch these kids try to please the teachers that are proxys for socialism. I am glad my kids attend a private school that leaves the political party at the gates of the school yard and teaches the Constitution and Bill of Rights as a protection from this form of government. Marx would be proud of our Department of Education, too bad I can't seem to share his view.
