Unfortunately once a Congressman/woman or Senator gets voted into office they can literally do whatever they want irregardless of what their constituients wish them to do. they can get all of the e-mails, letters, or phone calls from their constituients aboutmany different topics for or against. Unless there is a provision in your state for a Congressional or Senatorial recall vote by the voters, of a House of Representatives member or a Senator, nothing can stop them from voting in the best interests of the highest paying lobbyists, not the voters from their respective state.,That is just the sad truth of todays political realm. Until the day arrives that Corporate or Special Interests Lobbyists are outlawed they will have much more bribery influience over your Senator or House member than the average voting public.

The smart Rebublican Senat politicians are starting to realiz the great majority of the country things that the TP is not in tune and out of touch with the great majority of voters, the smart politician knows which way the wind is blowing and will adjust to the new realitlies, so he can get reelcted next time, Most Washington Politicians are there to serve the Military Industrial cmplex because thats were most of the millions of their reelectlion money comes from.

Ratbite, it may be the time. I swore if the loons in the Republican party nominated a guy with a low conservative rating as Blunt has, compared to Johnson's high conservative ratings I would be looking for a third party that actually has principled beliefs. We have enough good ole guys now in Boehner, and McConell, etc. Senator Jim Demint please steer us into a third party. We could call it "The RIght Party" the ones who know the difference between right and wrong. This should not be that hard to do; by calling the the establishment republicans on their shenanigans, the guys that just want to get along and keep the status quot. They will concede, for that is what they do best, at least this time it will be for a good reason.

When you have been a elite incumbent for as long as many of these in congress, you seem to think your owed this job and anyone rocking the boat had best jump out. This elitism by incumbents has essentially poisoned the well for proper representation and has jeopardized this Constitutional Republic, it is now time to re-pare and maintenance the system, we can no longer expect decent goverment to work while this exist. Term limits salary only, a moratorium for elected and appointees, yearly public audits on earnings and holdings for all incumbents and a fair tax system to maintain a proper budget to be on the ballot every ten years.....we make the changes or we lose this Republic..
