The REAL question here is whether, or not, the US military will wage war against the American citizens. Leaving the military out of the equation, there are not enough others carrying guns at the local, state and federal levels to subjugate America.

I had an odd thought while reading this article. If you were a leader of a soon to be collapsing civilization, wouldn't it make more sense to have camps set up to protect people like doctors, scientists, and engineers that would be needed to maintain a technologically based society? At best, they can incarcerate a small percentage of the population in these camps, so what if those are the people thay are saving because they'll need them? The rest of us would just be left to fight amongst each other and starve. Just something to ponder. Cheers!

Camps to hold 301-2,000 people, and that is only 100,000 people in the whole USA, That is only enough to help people in case of an emergency, as a natural disaster of some kind, anywhere in the USA. There are a hell-of a lot more people pissed off at the way things are going on in our economy, then 100,000 people and they would have to have much more space to secure the ppl if we had a revolution.

Now I've read the article itself, then looked at the sources, you might want to all calm down a little. Next time there's a disaster (such as hurricane bad-ass or the big quake of 2015) I'll expect you all to, as you crawl from your wrecked shanty into a sewage strewn street, to refuse any sort of aid that the government offers. One blogger on HuffPost has pointed out that, because of the Internet and how it has revolutionized information dissemination, TPTB and their agents (e.g., military-brat-on-steroids John McCain) are quite literally racing against time. The really big issue here IMHO is whether or not people are waking up fast enough.

I said a while ago, the detention camps have already been built, just waiting form some clients, which won't be long now.The US will be the biggest GITMO camp in the world. NOT THAT THE REST OF THE SO-CALLED DEMOCRACIES ARE SAFE. all those democracy loving governments are busy enacting laws to the extent that you will have to get permision to go for a shite. I'm not sure what you're all worried about. Looking at the services required for the subcontractors, you're going to get better service from your government in the camps than you have at the moment.
