What did these people know and when did they know it? The answers to these questions on many matters will determine which among them- if any- get their death penalty for treason commuted to life in prison. Or- for the torturers and murderers among them- we should just let them be extradited to the countries they brought misery, death, murder, and mayhem too and let them deal with them as they see fit.

It is interesting how the 'angry mob' suddenly is respectable. It has gained respect from its opponents. There is indeed a growing frustration across the country and the ANGER is warranted. No violence. No disorder. Wonderful. This is about morality: It is not about a brave new economic financial policy. The fundamental call is for a fairer distribution of wealth. This cannot be ignored. This is all about financial excess and political cynicism. The growing inequality, rising poverty and sacrifice by the poor weak and vulnerable who are the least able to bear the weight. The top 10% have taken all of the income gains so that the entire 90% has undergone a net loss. The top 1% of Americans now possess more wealth than all the members of the same 90%. 46 million Americans are now living in abject poverty than at any time since records were first taken more than 50 years ago. Romney and Cain have it all wrong. They are dinosaurs. Don't put them anywhere near the White House. It is the young workers who will pay the price for bailouts of bankers and corporations. Shameful. Bonuses for CEOs and bankers. Hell, no!!! The attitude and behaviour of these CEOs and bankers SUCKS BIG TIME. Ordinary citizens need to realize the grave situation. Time for CHANGE WE CAN ALL BELIEVE IN.

Here are some numbers I just looked up . 1. One percent of Americans are supposed to have assets of a million or more, e. a. about three million. 2. Here is a good one. 1,745,000 Canadians are millionaires, mainly because the value of their real estate. 3. About 400,000 Germans are millionaires. 4. About 220,000 Swiss are millionaires. 5 280,000 Brits are. If these numbers are correct, the Canadians seem to be the richest. You check it out.

Coming to this topic rather late I have to capitulate to Ariana's comments in the main. As a Scot (who have contributed numerous contributions from a small nation to the benefit of humanity) I am proud of course but in no way do I feel superior to any other ethnic or religous group. I am well aware of the gaps in history usually told by the victors. I also know that some of my ancestors would also have committed abominable acts as well as other positive acts. The Scottish diaspora were also starved and persecuted by their immediate neighbours as well as their own kind. History is written by the victors and the best way to resist that propaganda is to read as much as you can and participate in non-mainstream sites such as this. I am grateful for all the views espoused and learn something every day. The change must come from the groundswell of the people.

Must you spell out the obvious? The 1% are the ones with the money, and in America, money is everything. The 99% are the ones who will continue to be the 99%. End of story. But be sure to ask the French how they changed that story. It wasn't pretty but it worked. Which is why today, they make sure a healthy chunk of 'socialism' exist so that they don't have to bother with the guillotine again. Get my drift?

This understatement may well be the "1%" in the US, but I suspect that there is a subgroup of that category that dwarfs them when the fact that the global debt problem festering for the past 40 years is in the hundreds of TRILLIONS. This subgroup may be the invisible "Great Pirates" that Buckminister Fuller once referred to. These monsters are global in wealth and power(if they exit).

Maritime law since the days of Hammurabi was written in favor to mercantilism. It's been an underlying and overlooked concept since civilization itself. Until we abolish commercialism and actually give a damn to one another and other species that share this planet; then you'll see real peace. And I'm not implying this preposition in a pseudo-socialistic way either. Till then expect to see an inferior class of slave labor always being exploited in order to provide the more privileged countries with their gadgets and gizmos. Repeal status, materialism, and entitlement (I never said progression, did I?) I mean, wake up people, don't you want to get out of this rock? Let's explore space; both inner and outer.

Maybe the Jews were never "chosen" the way they think they were, and the way the Jewish (Bible for Christians to read) reads. Maybe the truth is, Jesus was of Persian/Macedonian blood, son of Julius Caesar and the Pharaoh Cleopatra of Egypt (who was of Macedonian blood). He would have been the KING OF KINGS for sure, as he was called in the bible. Also, when Cleopatra's hand maid and servant, Mary and Joseph of Caanan departed back to their homeland, per request, they took Jesus (Caesarian) back with them, and they were "chosen" to protect and shelter the Pharaoh of Egypt/Ruler of Rome! Jesus was the teacher of the Caananites at a very young age, as he was educated in Egypt and Rome, thus the reasons so much history in the bible is screwed up. Second-hand knowledge does that.
