I totally supported Ian's decision in the entire interview. I even asked him about organic and sustainable agriculture in response to something he said in his original press release. I think your original comment is geared more towards my personal spending habits and pretty much has nothing to do with Ian (other than that he is coincidentally a farmer). Great, you grow food for your friends and family, I applaud you. I buy the majority of my produce from a farmer's market because I'd rather support locally grown produce and small farmers like yourself. If he continued being a sponsored rider while farming and got less and less coverage in the process, until fell into obscurity (so to speak), then he would've "faded away." It doesn't imply that he will no longer ride, the quote is in direct response to Ian's decision to no longer be a pro rider. Personally, I think it's a catchy title that works well.
