Many apologies Dan - there seemed to have been a problem with the code when the article was published. You should be able to see it with no problems now.

Hi Alan - there are still plans for the winter sports complex - including the ski slope - in the area. Those plans will go before the planning committee in March. More details here: http://yourcardiff.walesonline.co.uk/2012/11/01/winter-sports-complex-and-wales-tallest-building-plans-submitted/

Hi Maggie. As described above, the developer is proposing to build on four sites around Ferry Road. The first (to be known as Cardiff Pointe) is on the peninsula of land next to the International Sports Village, with Cardiff Bay to the north and east, the River Ely to the south and the Whitewater Centre and Empire Way to the west. The second site is currently used as a temporary car park for the international swimming pool and the white water rafting centre, with Empire Way and the international pool to the north, the Cardiff Pointe development to the east, the River Ely to the south and the white water rafting to the west. The third application relates to land behind the Morrisons supermarket on Ferry Road, and the fourth is for a stretch of land between Watkiss Way to the south and the A4055 Cogan Spur flyover.

Hi there - the story does say that the young boy involved was riding a bike, but I will certainly check his age again with police. Thank you for flagging this up. Jess @yourCardiff.

Hi there - Jess @ yourCardiff here. I have changed the headline, and an inaccuracy - altering "£12,000 sound system" to "12k sound system", which was a mistake on my part, not the author's - but nothing else has been edited since publication.
