I just wish someone with a larger megaphone would call Obama out on his blame Bush tactic for the "mess" in Afganistan. He selected Gate to continue his office a Secretary of Defense. All knowledgeable people know that the Sec of Defense is the person who formulates and advises the POTUS on military policy and strategy. By keeping Gate on is an admission that his administration was aware and agreed with this key area of his campaign platform. Gates is either responsible for the mess or a YES man. If Obama truly believes he was handed a mess, the Gates should go.

My daughter attended the Air Force Academy in the late 90's. One day she called home in a state and blurted out that everyone there was a male chauvenist pig.
