I dont know why but for some reason everything I post about has to do with an episode of southpark this blog reminds me of the episode where the japanese are going around and killing all the dophins and whales (even the miami dolphins) after trying to stop it and then going to the museum in hiroshima of the bomb dropping the boys see an imagine of a dolphin and whale dropping the bomb and get their buddy still in the us to send another digitally altered photo of a cow and chicken dropping the bomb. it then cuts to a scene of the japanese (stereotypically dressed like ninjas) killing all the cows and chickens. it then ends with one of the adults saying something along the lines of "see kids now they are just like us americans"

I bring this up because it is as american as apple pie to criticize another country without really looking at it from their perspective. now granted rape is a very serious topic, but what about murder which happens in every fun video game that comes out now a days. if you look at videos games in terms of real life, what is worse Killing thousands of people, or raping one girl? I personally thing the killing thing in terms of real life is worse. I also feel that if you are already paying for and then playing one of these rape games that you are probably so disturbed to begin with that it doesn't matter if these games exist or not you are still going to be very weird. everyone posting here also likes to think they have a conscious when an issue doesn't affect them but lets be serious, this is apparently a lucrative industry in japan and I don't think most people would turn down the opportunity of several million dollars in revenue and not make this game. I personally dont think that killing video games are what cause people to kill so why should I believe that raping video games would cause people to rape

Lets talk about feces today. lets talk about what color your feces was. was it brown? did it have a green hint to it? was it corny? was it nutty? or how about vomiting, lets talk about vomit... NO! LETS NOT!!!! race color and periods are completely different. Period cycles are normal for a girl to have, just like pooping is a normal thing to do. I go and poop about once a day and get on with my life without having to have to discuss it around the table (unless it was huge than of course I have to tell everyone and take a picture of it with my cell phone, duh!) . Now some of this is a little rediculous like a past post from last week the girl said she asked her sister to throw her a tampon and her mother flipped shit on her. that is a little weird, but that doesn't mean that I should be cool with girls talking about their bleeding vagina's in class just like they shouldn't have to listen to me talk about my pooping butthole. Maybe sam can prove me wrong and say no back in the day it was only because their vagina's bleed as to why women were oppressed and not aloud to vote but I feel their are other factors involvedas to why men have made women almost (if not totally) sub human. oh look! my pussy toe nail is about to fall off... WHO CARES! and why does it need to be brought up ?

moving to the always questioning things. I get that we should question things, but I cant stand people that think they are so edgy and hip because they question something. Sam Richards like dildos in his butt... or does he? you know, just asking the questions. If everyone questioned everything nothing would ever get done or be3 accomplished. For example this race relations project website; If I sit around and question what the motives are I could probably come up with some pretty crazy conspiracy theories no matter what sam says. or I could just do my damn piece so I can get a grade and pass college.

is anyone else reminded of the south park episode "eat, pray, queef"? where the men ad boys are so disgusted and outraged by females queefing that they take it to the senate and have a bill passed to outlaw queefing. the same can almost be implied for girl's periods. since guys don't go through it than it is just gross and something they don't want to know. One thing I do think if men did have periods is that instead of being free, tampons would probably be more expensive and extensive with custom rocket editions and gold plated applicators "for the real man's man". axe would probably claim a stake in the market for tampons also. The thought process of condoms are for men and you can get them for free is RIDICULOUS because 1. they are used to protect BOTH people from stds and help prevent the WOMAN getting pregnant, and they also provide free female condoms. Girls can go get free condoms too to have handy...

I feel the issue of better education would only be a minor help. lets think about middle school to high school aged boys (13-18) now either think back to when you were a guy that age, or most of your male peers were that age. most of those guys either cared so little about topics in health class that they paid enough attention to get by and probably not retain the information, or the would be so emotionally overwhelmed by the topic for reasons such as too immature to take the matter seriously or embarrassed and uneasy about the topic to really ask questions and feel comfortable learning the material. my high school had a fairly "new-aged" approach and our curriculum tackled issues like different types of birth control, eating disorders, stds, and the menstrual cycle. I cant say I remember much from the different types of birth control and menstrual cycle because it doesn't really personally affect me and I was a 16 year old boy. The same reason why I don't know much about trigonometry, it doesn't directly affect me. With that said and being a little older an excuse of "It doesn't directly affect me" is not valid reason to know nothing on the subject matter just as ignorance of the law does not excuse the act. An issue like this indirectly affects me since it pretty much affects every female in my life, important or not.

I think one of the biggest problems with the comments is the anonymous responses. Like when he says only the black and brown people text, who is to say it isn't a white person saying bench warmers, or bad at sports. and who is to say it wasn't a black guy saying the loud black girls in the computer labs make him mad. I personally know a couple black guys that would find that humorous to post up on the wall. One person posted earlier how they think the reason why all the colored people get all up in arms about things and white people don't is because of slavery. um... how about just 50 years ago and the civil right movement? A time that our grandparents can tell us about. I feel like if there is someone who has done you wrong in the past in your circle of friends, but isnt really your friend any more, and they say something that is negative towards you that you will take much more offense to it than vice versa or if one of your friends said it to you. Not that that was a perfect comparison but a general idea could be as to why it kind of only went one way. Another issue I feel is slightly wierd is how white people have been upset over this idea that we weren't upset over the comments but the black and brown people were. If we were all sooooo upset that we have an entire blog about it then why didn't anyone freak out during class when that happened. and if you weren't upset by the comment why are you getting upset that you weren't upset but other people are? you cannot control what upsets other people and what doesn't. my grandmother would be upset if I said damnit around her. should I get mad that it doesn't upset me and she is overreacting? no! so telling black and brown people to stop being so sensitive or to change is not an option, whiteys either have to start speaking out and telling them it is not ok to say things like benchwarmers about us (only if you truly do care) or B. If you don't care than you still have to be respectful of white might upset and piss others off

there are definitely some great things to come out of this. Native Americans for the most part (and excluding the select few who own casinos) are very very poor. they also have no well paying jobs available to them. For these people who were dirt poor to finally have more jobs that pay well can not be looked at as a bad thing, but must be very cautiously looked at especially because it is dealing with oil drilling which can potentially be dangerous, and bad for the environment. On the note of how horrible all us white people are for taking the natives land and how bad I should feel, I really don't. we came we saw we conquered, poor indigenous people lost. the Irish and Scottish lost to England, and the Greeks lost to the Persians for more land it has been happening since the beginning of human history. Some Native tribes used to fight each other for land and other such things, Whitey just happened to be much more successful at it. Now they get to have 18 year old white boys blow their college loans on gambling and cry back to mom and dad for help. That is much more than my Mick ass will ever see from Hugh Grant

and rabbi were in very good taste, understanding that to the average person, what was happening could be seen as a security threat. This is not the case for an 8-year old kid who has trouble getting on airplanes because he shares the same name as a person on a terrorist no fly list. I understand that in a world today where you cannot ever be too careful that sometimes there needs to be a line drawn. I think there is something to be said about knowing other peoples cultures from this little mishap. Not that I actively sought out to know about this culture, but because I by chance know about it and would have recognized it on the air plane I would have not had to stress out and worry that my airplane was going to be blown up.I know though that there are a lot of things though that I do not know many different cultures and if I were on an airplane where someone else was doing a completely harmless act I could be scared to death over it. I think it is safe to say that about most people also.

I found this article to be very refreshing for all parties involved. I only know what tefillin is because of the movie Pi, and apparently is so unheard of that my spell check doesn’t recognize it either. What the flight attendants and pilots did was in my opinion the right thing to do for precautionary reasons. It also seemed to me that the cops who got on the plane and approached the boy and his sister handled the situation in a firm, yet respectful manor without over stepping boundaries that could have turned into police brutality. I also found that the reaction of the kid, his grandmother,

How is this guy on the air? who would give this guy a tv show? any capitalist with half a brain is who! No doubt this guy is a complete radical who has more haters that follow him then actual people that believe what he says. THIS IS WHY WE ARE SUBJECT TO HIS CRAZY RANTS, but how boring would life be without people like him! I also feel that people are way too offended by the words of a "crazy man who didn't take his meds." I don't beleive or agree with what he said about haiti but he is entitled to his opinion on what is true and what isn't. touching on the topic of things being good vs evil or black and white. I think many things can be solved this way. for instance pat is 100 percent wrong he isnt kind of wrong and the haitians didn't sort of make a deal with the devil, and also pat is definately evil as darth vader. To finish I personally find the only positive thing about being around people who have different views as me is that it only strengthens how right mine are =-)
