I so agree with this list of annoying online personalities. I don't understand what the spammers & hackers get out of posting all the links. Are these kids with nothing better to do? Surely posting all those links would not be profitable - I mean who would EVER click on any of their links or be lured to them in any way? I'm confused as to what they could possibly have to gain.

I am in the process of creating a blog that's primarily personal and I worry about getting spammy comments. I'm a newbie to blogging so there's a lot I don't understand. I installed Disqus for comments - did I make a mistake? Should I change over to Intense Debate?

So true about the Gurus - there are so many of them that their self-proclaimed titles have lost all meaning.
