Greetings, and God bless. The link worked fine when I first put it in my comment. Now I'm getting the 404 error message. The site won't let me edit if there has been a subsequent comment, so I'll try and put the link here: http://supct.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/95-1478.Z...

Tears of the Patriots : Add Arizona To The List Of States Passing 10th Amendment Resolutions!

Greetings, and God bless. I'm glad Arizona is trying to get aboard the Tenth Amendment movement. That's a good thing. I hope all of the several states do so as soon as possible. Our detractors keep claiming that these resolutions are just empty rhetoric, mere gestures, that they are of no force or effect. In point of fact they are not even needed, not in a strict legal sense, because the sentiments expressed therein are already the law of the land, but I think it is a good thing for the states to do nonetheless just to remind we, the People of the truth in these matters and to get folks to think about it. The ends to be achieved by these resolutions are sanctioned, supported and even required by the Supreme Court of the United States. Any doubt that the statists are trying to sow amongst the People of the several states about the legality and validity of these resolutions is blown away by the language of the Supreme Court decision linked below. I'm sure some of us have read this. Some of us have not. In either case I suggest we read it again. And then go back to the start and read it again. Then read the footnotes. They are an education in themselves. Focus on the last paragraph of the decision. Absorb it. Let it sink in. In terms of its utility to our struggle against statist usurpation of our life, liberty and property, this is one of the most powerful Supreme Court decisions ever written. It has long been clear that the solution to our nations plight is not going to come from anywhere even remotely in the direction of DC. The only possible solution is we, the People, exercising through the offices of our county and state legislatures and our county sheriffs, the rights, powers and authorities that we have always possessed but have obviously forgotten. This decision makes clear that we, the People have the absolute right, power and authority to say NO! to the statists in DC when they step beyond their Constitutional boundaries. Those county and state legislatures and county sheriffs will not, in most cases, remember those rights, powers and authorities until we the People remind them and isn't that what Tears of the Patriots is all about? Let's help them remember. <a href="http://supct.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/95-1478.Z..." target="_blank">http://supct.law.cornell.edu/supct/html/95-1478.Z...

Greetings, and God bless. Here's Tom DeWeese on sustainable development. Excellent article. If you folks in the Government Group find any of this stuff going on around here let us know! http://www.newswithviews.com/DeWeese/tom137.htm

Tears of the Patriots : You Report, You Decide...

Greetings, and God bless. I have remarked at meetings that Americans in general, and us here in particular, need to become knowledgeable of the difference between politics and political warfare if we have any hope of even understanding the statists, let alone defeating them. And understanding them is an absolute prerequisite to defeating them. There is a little quirk of human nature that works to the advantage of the statists; when standing next to another human being most of us, without examining the proposition, tend to assume, lacking any evidence to the contrary, that the other person pretty much sees the same world that we see. We tend to assume that the other guy is coming from more or less the same set of foundational presuppositions about the nature of reality that we are. In most instances this is a relatively safe assumption. But not always. All too often in the struggle for the American future the strategic and tactical thinking of the defenders of freedom incorporates the unexamined presumption that, when we and the statist opposition look out onto the battlefield, we both see the same battlefield. This is profoundly and dangerously incorrect. As a result we are losing fights we don't even realize we're in. It's another example of differing paradigms. When a normal, freedom loving American and a dedicated statist look out out at the world from inside their respective minds, they see two completely different and unrelated universes. In one universe the tools for advancing toward the goal are politics. In the other the tools are political warfare. The differences between the two mindsets is succinctly summed up in this statement by Louis Veuillot: “When I am the weaker, I ask for my freedom, because that is your principle; but when I am the stronger, I take away your freedom, because that is my principle.” The article linked below is rather lengthy but well worth the read. It summarizes one of the many fronts upon which the statists are advancing. It looks into the statist armory and reveals some of the weapons of political warfare. http://www.americanthinker.com/2008/09/barack_oba...

Greetings, and God bless. Anyone who has talked politics with me for even a short length of time will have gathered that I believe that Americas prime enemies are of the Marxist-Leninist variety. This includes both the traditional Marxists and the cultural transformational Marxist, foreign and domestic. Well, I have discovered their lair, wherein lurks the head of the Communist serpent itself. Here you find the highly motivated, well trained cadres of which Lenin spoke, the very vanguard of the Party as it issues marching orders to the hordes of useful idiots that even now swarm over the landscape of our fair but beleaguered land. Look inside. See the heart of darkness. http://www.thepeoplescube.com/

Greetings, and God bless. A trillion dollars. That figure is being tossed around quite a bit these days. People are actually getting used to hearing it now, starting to get jaded about it. Perhaps that would change if we could see what a trillion dollars looks like. Would you like to see what a trillion dollars looks like? Check it out. http://www.pagetutor.com/trillion/index.html

Tears of the Patriots : The Government Paradigm

Greetings, and God bless. Clearly, the left-right dichotomy is an artifact grafted onto the national (and international) discussion in accordance with the Gramscian dictate that he who controls the language of a debate controls the debate. It's critical theory judo that allows the statists to frame the context of the discussion in dialectical terms. If we take it to it's logical conclusion we end up with Orwellian Newspeak where the language has been distorted to the point that, although we may be engaging in "thoughtcrime", it is impossible to articulate that thoughtcrime to those around us. Just one example of how the specific dialectic trick of the left-right paradigm has worked fabulously for the statists: some of us wonder why such a large percentage of Americans of the Jewish tradition consistently vote for democrats despite the fact that the thrust of democratic politics tends to run counter to the values of that tradition, values of hard work, self reliance and reverence for the central role of family in the life of the individual. Look at the language of the left-right debate. Through control of the the terminology, the language of the debate, the statists have managed to a substantial degree to inject into the public consciousness the perception that the artificial concept of "right wing" is equivalent to "Nazi". They have also managed to insinuate into the debate the notion that right wing is also equivalent to conservative. They have been doing these things for a very long time. There are still many Jews alive today who have direct personal experience with Nazis and death camps, and this knowledge in handed down form is also very much a reality to a great many of their first and second generation descendants. The statists have managed to sell themselves as the bulwark against a resurgence of this kind of horror. They are all that is keeping a lid on the seething racism that they claim is bubbling just beneath the surface of American life. Thus control of the language of debate has allowed them to keep the support of a large body of Americans whose best interests are being undermined by that support. If you can control the language then you can control the framework of the debate. You can make the case that up is down, love is hate, ignorance is strength and those who would disagree have a hard time getting enough traction in the available symbol system to effectively counter such claims. This is something fundamental to the American crisis and it is essential that freedom loving Americans become educated about this most powerful of weapons in the statist arsenal. Thank you, William Tuttle
