One of many reasons fish-farming of salmon is a bad idea.

Difficult-to-unclasp ID bracelets are one thing to consider with elders and others with memory problems.

Geez! What kid of Ouija Board is THAT one pictured above? It doesn't even look at all like the ones we used to play with at slumber parties, which was very benign-looking in design. The one pictured above looks demon-ish with the angry faces stylized on it, and devil symbols. If that is a stock photo, they need to edit this stupid one out and put a different one -- a normal one -- with the article.

That is what I was thinking as a possibility. INS has been known to sweep away parents when they are at work away from their kids...wonder if it was actually a babysitter that dumped them off, who did not want to get involved with INS either? In any case, those little ones are absolutely adorable!

I wonder what the pay status becomes for employees that for medical reasons cannot be vaccinated (i.e. allergies)
There are a lot of medical reasons for various individuals that prevent them from getting vaccinated:

I hope not. If ever there was a mentally ill psychotic person who needed monitoring, it would be someone like him who has threatened to murder in the past and now has indeed murdered. Gotta agree about the failure of the system: lowering meds with patient complaining of increasing mental illness/psychotic issues and him not having any monitored supervision is reckless and dangerous.

BOTH of their poor families! No one wants to have a mentally ill, psychotic family member who is lethally and indiscriminately violent and who has now killed someone , and no one wants their daughter killed, either.

Well THAT sure makes me feel *old*. I lived on the N. side of Spirit Lake and was the backpacking guide for the Girl Scout Camp up there just 4 years before it blew. We bought beer from Harry Truman at his lodge on *time-off* and he did not bother to check our ID and that we were just a wee bit underage. I had hiked around that mountain ( 4 day trips) and surrounding areas (St. Helen's Lake, Ape Caves, Lang's Mine, etc.) several times over the years leading up to the blast. I remember my dad enclosing in a letter to me a tiny article from the back of the Oregonian about 2 geologists stating that the Mtn.. could erupt in the "next 50 years". The other 3 camp staffers and myself stood looking out across the lake at the mountain with said article in hand, and said to each other how improbable it seemed. I was in Portland with a friend driving around when it blew and we heard about it on the radio so went right up to Washington Park to get a good view. It broke my heart, as it was THE most beautiful place on earth, and I had always wanted to go back up there and live one day. Ma Nature has her own agenda no matter what we think or do.
