Great question! Not many people ask such things.
Firstly, I am very glad that you find RVM useful!

Currently I have a dayjob, a consulting company and four children 5 & under.
All of my free time is devoted to the following projects in order:

* RVM - Ruby Version Manager (consumes almost *all* of my time right now)
* BDSM - Bash Deployment & Server Manager
* DBM - Data Base Manager
* UPM - Universal Package Manager

If I get a breather anytime soon from RVM, then DBM will come out rapidly with initial support for mysql, postgresql, redis, riak, mongodb, and a few others. I already have a lot of base code written for it. Essentially it is RVM for databases, unified management and environmental CLI API, simple management for both root installs and user installs.

Jammi,

I was not aware that there was a 6-4 cable. That is really good to know.

Thank you!
