Charles; I never thought of using these resources in this way. This is a great help in making a "richer" funeral sermon. Thanks a lot. Jonathan.

Google calendar is definitely on my list of "Free Internet Services that Really Work" we use it exclusively for all our calendars at the church. Check out www.trinitycreston.org on the side menu events, volunteer, education, and fellowship hall.

Do Pastors Dream of Electric Sheep? : Managing Your Pile of Books

I like Library Thing because it is online and nearly free ($25 lifetime). I got the cheap barcode scanner ($10) and it really does work (even if it is shaped like a cat). Library Thing makes a great card catalog because it can sort (properly) by Library of Congress number. Also has all manner of handheld access via internet (i.e. iPhone, Blackberry, and Android). I'm planning a post for later.

Do Pastors Dream of Electric Sheep? : Free church websites that don't look that way...

Great Post Pastor! We use google sites too (http://www.TrinityCreston.org). One minor point it does cost $10 a year for a custom URL. Keeping the site updated is always a challenge. Just another hat for a busy pastor to wear.
