Not sure where you bought New Super Mario Bros. Wii?
Yes, because peripherals= games.
Boy do I hate blind fanboyism
I agree with what you're saying, but I do think its good that they lowered their expectations to a more realistic level. Doing this allows them to be positively surprised if it sells more, rather than being disappointed with an under 1 million selling. But yes, I do find it odd that they would base sales expectations on two seemingly different titles.
If you hurry I'm sure you could find one in a store
It seems that people forget that the Wii isn't as powerful as the other systems and PC. Perhaps the reason online play was excluded was because Nintendo knew they wouldn't be able to get it to a point where it would run equal to the local version. And we all know that if they would have dared to put it out without it being equal, they would have been torched by all the gaming media, including you guys. No doubt they would have deserved the criticism, but anyway thats just possible reason for the lack of online play.
Beyond mainly discussing FPSs, it seemed to me while I listened that the vast majority of the time they would talk about a game and then say, 'Oh, by the way its multiplatform.' To me this episode only showed why the PS3 is a wiser purchase, rather than creating excitement for the 360. When they went through all the game it was obvious how few first party/ exclusive games 360 has. Really, all their is Halo, Alan Wake, XBLA exclusive games. When they talked about the best games for 360 they mentioned the likes of Assassin's Creed 2 and Batman: AA, which, Oh, by the way are on the PS3.
I think I know why you thought, probably because Brawl got delayed from December, then to February, then March.
I justed checked on IGN and the only Nintendo releases were Super Paper Mario in April, Mario Party 8 in May.
However, we did get Metroid Prime 3 in August and Super Mario Galaxy in November
I feel the same way about new console talk. I can understand why they talk aboutit , because it's always 'fun' to speculate, but honestly I don't know. The way I see it, we really know nothing about the next-generation and won't until Nintendo sees it fit for us to know, so, until then there isn't much reason to talk about it. Anyway, I'm not even sure I'm ready for a new console, considering there is still so much potential that is yet to be unleashed with the Wii and the games that are coming out within the next year. Sure HD and more power would be nice, but those can easily be overcome with clever design and art style.
This game has been on my radar for quite a while, if I ever get around to picking up a Playstation Network card I would likely get this and Flower
