It works with certain combinations. I had it working together with a GN 9350N headset.

I dont have the desk space for a phone with a 10" display. The 7" display works fine for me. It is not a desktop computer replacement, it is an enhanced phone. I find the 7" display to provide just enough real estate without becoming cumbersome.

You need a DHCP server that support DHCP Scope Options. I don\'t know what you are using for your DHCP server so I can\'t really give you much info.

You can use a tool like WinZip or 7zip to extract the file which will then contain 4 compressed files:

etc-asterisk
var-log-asterisk
var-lib-asterisk
var-spool-asterisk

The contents of those files need to be put back on the server using a tool like WinSCP into the following directories

etc-asterisk - /etc/asterisk
var-log-asterisk - varlog/asterisk
var-lib-asterisk - /var/lib/asterisk
var-spool-asterisk - /var/lib/asterisk/voicemail

What do you mean you are using the remote phones address? You would have to use the public ip address of your PBX.

Are you using T-Mobile in the US? I have yet to find anyone else that has gotten it to work.

Why have a POTS line? Why not go all VOIP? The network and services are reliable enough these days. I killed my last POTS line 2 years ago.

Excellent, good to know. I am so loving having electronic hook switch again! The EXP39 is also pretty cool for a receptionist or manager.
