You need to re-read the First Amendment.

I'll be honest. I've never heard of PatriotPost. I think it's great we have all of these conservative websites out there spreading liberty. Vision to America partners with Patriot Update on many projects instead of competing with them. What point is there in calling someone else's website garbage if it advances the cause of liberty. Sounds like envy to me which is the very source of Socialism that we are fighting so hard to stop. I think we are all true Patriots who are out to defeat Socialism and bring about liberty through personal responsibility.

I'd like to see where Gary urged us to vote for McCain. I don't ever remember him saying such a thing.

Barbara, it is obvious you didn't bother to read the article fully or refused to look up the passages given. God clearly states that all land promised to Israel was given to them and occupied by them. In case I can't make it clear enough for you I'll be happy to show you what God said about this in Joshua 21:43-45:

"So the LORD gave Israel all the land which He had sworn to give to their fathers, and they possessed it and lived in it. And the LORD gave them rest on every side, according to all that He had sworn to their fathers, and no one of all their enemies stood before them; the LORD gave all their enemies into their hand. Not one of the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass."

Richard,

It sounds like you are implying that incest is a good thing. Just because man acts a certain way doesn't mean that it is righteous. Even through man's sinfulness and rebellion God works His glory in all things. Even the lowest of us have a part in God's plan.

Judas rebelled against God. Yet even though this act of rebellion led to the murder of Christ, our salvation was secured. While Judas' act was necessary for our salvation, his rebellion wasn't rewarded but punished.

L.J., I think you are missing the point. The entire Bible is the Word of God so red letters only detract from the whole picture. Red letters are not helpful in understanding the Bible. Reading it and working through passages does.

Where does logic come from? You're borrowing from God to make your case. You can't do that.

You can't account for right or wrong either. Things just are. Without God, those things don't exist.

But why should they "OUGHT to live this way..."? It may benefit (yet there is no such thing as "good" or "benefit" outside of God. Things just are) others not to live this way. It benefits the thief and rapist to take from others. Sure it doesn't benefit the ones being taken from but without God, why does any of that matter? It just is.

Where is this concept of freedom and slavery outside of God? There is more freedom for the individual NOT to follow these arbitrary man-made rules. He's free to make any decision he wants. Under your idea of freedom, man is still a slave to other men and there is no morality attached to it. It's one group of people imposing there will on another.

That doesn't demonstrate why it is wrong, only that a group of people have determined to live in a particular way because they believe it benefits them. You've removed the morality of the issue and just made it a social one. With your argument there is no "right to freedom" that we have, just a collective body of people deciding not to rape one another.

Marder, you haven't responded to the challenge by Gary to demonstrate why rape is wrong outside of God. You've only made an empty statement to which I say "so what?"
