Perhaps, one of the recent apps you installed caused this problem. Are those cracked apps? If the problem persists, you can try to restore your iphone. As noted on the main page of this site, you should select "as new phone" when itune asks you to make a selection. After restore, you should try to sync only the apps that you installed before the problem happens, since you don't know which recent installed apps caused the problem. Hope this info helps!
Have you tried the hard-reboot it by pressing both the power and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds or until the Apple logo reappear again?
any idea why, when I open Cydia, it asks me to upgrade my "ulstrasn0w"? I don't want to screw up my already unlocked 3G with 3.0 FW iphone, since I rely on it for my T-mobile service. Is it safe to do the upgrade or should I just leave it alone?
Thanks!!!!
Hey, just in case you want to know. I found out that if you use winterboard to set the wallpapper to use changeable images (managed by a javascript in the background, e.g: Color Fading Theme), then it drained the battery very quickly. Also, the tmobile signal was very weak too. Everything went back to normal, after I changed it to use a static theme.
always as after a few hours? I noticed that the battery lasts much longer than before. Perhaps, Apple did something to improve the battery life in 3.0. I used to at least charge my iphone twice a day if I used my iphone a lot like playing games, checking email and facebook. But after the upgrade, jailbreak and unlock, I only need to charge once for the entire today.
So far, I found that most of my apps work fine, except Snapture and video-recorder (the one from Cydia, not the one came with 3GS).
I waited for about 10 minutes on mine after the unlocking, before I got the tmobile service. Then it went on and off for a while before the signal became very strong (almost full bar all the time). Hope this info helps.
I actually see the opposite after the upgrade, jb, and unlock. My iphone seems to run faster. The battery lasts much longer too which is a big plus.
can you make sure 3G is indeed off on your phone using the normal settings (not through BossPrefs)?
yup more info will definitely help.
